With over ten years of experience in libertarian campaigning and party operations, Pickens has built a deep understanding of what it takes to run an effective liberty-focused campaign from the ground up.

Michael Wilhelm is a web designer working at the intersection of technology, media, and political organizing. As a core contributor to Advancing Liberty Media, he designs high-converting digital platforms for candidates, PACs, and liberty-aligned organizations that want to compete at a professional level.

He is also the cofounder and CEO of BackGold, the campaign platform every Advancing Liberty site runs on. Michael is the face of the platform and the one who convenes the team that built it, which means the person designing your site knows exactly what the infrastructure underneath it can do.

Working alongside founder C. Michael Pickens, Michael brings a ground-up understanding of campaign systems, from FEC-compliant fundraising pipelines to narrative-driven pages that move supporters to act.
